We invite you to join us, just as you are – t-shirt and jeans, tie or no tie, it’s really up to you.  Our Service is a blend of traditional elements and contemporary music. It is our hope that you will experience the love of Christ through the preaching, the prayers, and the music.

What to Expect

While there is a time and place for quite reflection, our service offers time to meet new people, sing praises and learn about living the Christian life.  There are jokes, stories, praise songs, prayer, communion, kids stuff, Biblical teaching, hymn singing — even doughnuts! Not sure what to do? Watch the screen and those around you.  God is glad to have you and so are we.

Participation is encouraged and expected in Worship at Lakemore United Methodist Church, even if it’s just from your seat! Want to help make Worship better for everyone?  Here’s how you can be a part:

  • Be a greeter or an usher and help people feel welcome!
  • Music is a vital part of worship and there are many ways to assist.
  • Like to read?  Be the Liturgist and lead everyone through the Holy Word.
